Deliberate Dumbing Down America to Promote Socialism

n 1953, parents from across America complained to their congressmen and women that their children were being brainwashed by the universities across the country. They complained about the deliberate teaching of socialism and communism, the denigrating of traditional American values along with the Founding Fathers, and the devaluing of capitalism.

Congress responded by forming the Reece Committee. Their chief investigator, Norman Dodd, told about an interview he had with the President of the Ford Foundation, Rowan Gaither. Gaither bluntly told Dodd that he operated under directives that he was to use the Foundation's grant making powers to make the universities teach liberal values that would merge the United States with the Soviet Union. Dodd said that he nearly fell off his chair. No wonder they were preaching the virtues of Communism! This was disclosed by Dodd in his interview with G. Edward Griffin in 1982, shortly before Dodd's death.
